Is my ACT score good?
I am in my junior year, and I took the ACT test for the first time. When I got my scores back, the composite was a 19. Is this okay? Or should I take it again? The colleges I plan to attend are:
1) UNC at Chapel Hill
2) Pellissippi State Community College
3) Stetson University
A 19 is considered a low ACT score. Definitely take the ACT the spring of your junior year, and again the fall of your senior year. Most likely your score will gain a point or two by just taking it again. You may want to look into other community colleges or regional state schools that have flexible acceptance standards.
